Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

First Picture is the very first day I started my diet and workout routine

Second picture is day 21 or week 3

Third picture is day 47 or week 6

I’m proud to say that I’ve been pretty strict with my eating habits by eating six meals a day, eating properly, avoiding alcohol, exercising consistently, and making sure my body gets enough rest by not staying up too late. I’ll admit that I set my self up for failure by going to Vegas and I BROKE my diet by having 8 drinks. But, for the rest of the 46 days I was able be good about it. I have about 6 more weeks to go or 43 days…

I’M HALF WAY DONE and I can’t wait to be more lenient about my eating habits, you know have the occasional double double or two, or chipotle burrito or whatever my heart desires haha. But I still have a lot of work ahead of me…

I will be switching up my workout routine in order to try to gain more muscle mass. My original goal was to lose body fat and I’ve managed to do that without sacrificing too much muscle. However, I have lost some muscle due to the fact that I’ve been working out at home, and I lack the proper weights for resistance training. I will be getting a gym membership again and hopefully that will help me accomplish what I want to do by the end of my little project.

By the end of my diet I will post my workout routine in case you’re curious what it consists of. See previous posts if you’re curious about what I eat through out the day.

Those who lack discipline are those who associate limitations to it, when in reality it is power. Discipline gives you the power to create, plan and execute what others have considered to be too overwhelming/much time/much sacrifice.

“Are you a pipe or a diamond? Pipes burst under pressure, diamonds are made under pressure” - Old friend of mine

— Running in the morning definitely clears up my mind and allows me to think with so much clarity and focus.
So I decided to get back on a strict diet. I’ve been saying that for a while and I manage to stay on it for a month and get comfortable and break it -___-. Now I’m on day 4 of my 90 day diet. Trying to get closer to my fitness goals of 7-9% body fat.
Hopefully living with someone else who is as motivated as me can help me actually complete the 90 day period. I’m going to wish myself some luck and Dru, and hopefully we both finish it.
Here’s a picture of my daily food journal and what we both pretty much eat in case you become curious as to what we are eating.

Why dogs are better than cats(personal opinion)…
If your house caught on fire a dog will bark and wake you up, a cat will just sneak out the back door to safety.
I really want a dog…. I used to want a Siberian husky, but after owning a pitbull I think I’m more compatible with a pitbull than a husky.

New Years Resolutions

A majority of people give themselves New Year’s resolutions and I’ve realized that New Year’s resolutions have become cliché… So I’ve decided not to follow the herd and make GOALS instead. At the beginning of the year(2010) I gave myself WAY TOO MANY goals to accomplish in a very short period of time. So now I’ve decided to list 5 and write them down in a way that reminds me of what they are, but doesn’t make sense to anyone else but me. I do this because I honestly believe goals are like birthday wishes… If you reveal it then they won’t come true. The reasoning behind this is because once you start talking about it, then it becomes an ego thing(you feel the need to defend it) rather than something that comes naturally and really want. Then you waste time and effort defending it, rationalizing how it is a good plan, etc etc, rather than actually pursuing it. Sounds weird, but that’s what I believe… If you ask me what they are I will not tell you. All I’ll will say is, “I’ll let you know on December 31, 2011” haha.
